Nurse Liaison Hospice
Graduate of an accredited Nursing school. Must possess a current license to practice in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 yrs experience in general nursing practice, hospice experience and/or palliative, end of life care preferred. Should have supervisory and good communication skills. Ability to work well with others, function well under pressure, and function independently. Must comply with standards outlined in Nurse Practice Act.
The Nurse Liaison serves in a consultant role, acting as an advocate for the hospice program providing education for the healthcare professionals in the market. The purpose of this position is to support the hospice patient and their family between the hospitals and community healthcare professionals to improve hospice care for all patients who are terminally ill and specifically to provide better management of hospice patients.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
