Mobile Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

This position is located in the following cities: Kingman, AZ, Bullhead City, AZ, Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Parker, AZ.
MD24 House Call is seeking experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistants who will provide medical care by taking vitals, documenting health histories, performing phlebotomy, and various other medical duties in rural areas with limited health care access utilizing telemedicine technology to connect Doctor to patient in a telehealth visit. We are contracted with a majority of health plans.
This person will respond to individual private homes, assisted living, independent living and group home communities and rural areas throughout Arizona. This person will establish working relationships with key managers to explain MD24 House Call services via presentations within the group homes, assisted living, and independent living communities and follow through with individual patient's medical requests and registering the new patients.
A successful individual will have a proven track record in compliance and interpersonal skills for the senior population in particular and managers and nurses in group homes, assisted living and independent living.
Job Requirements
MA's must be certified through AAMA, ARMA or registered through AMT or have minimum of two years of equivalent experience as a Medical Assistant in a professional environment; internships do not qualify as professional experience.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Skills/Knowledge
Familiarity with computers and medical terminology.
Strong customer service skills, along with the ability to proactively anticipate and respond to needs of patients.
Ability to communicate effectively with nurses at group homes, assisted living and independent living and explain MD24 House Call's services and commitment to excellent patient care.
Demonstrates critical thinking, creative problem solving, organizational skills, time management, utilization of appropriate lines of authority within registration, and responsiveness to crisis situations with medical master skill.
An aptitude for building relationships, strong presentation skills, knowledge of senior living communities, and healthcare experience is a plus.

Daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Medical duties will include, but not limited to, hands on medical care including taking vitals, providing basic wound care, catheterization, and health status documentation using Electronic Health Record and leveraging technology to facilitate Telehealth visit with Provider.
Performing Phlebotomy with skill and handling specimen processing in accordance with all current guidelines.
Willing to learn EKG, ABI, and other parts of core ancillary services.
Establishing relationships with new communities and maintaining relationships with existing communities.
Communicate and receive leads. Then explain services in person or presentation and follow up with tracking.
Signing up patients (bonus upon patient being seen.)
Territory and assigned communities will be established by MD24 management.
Candidate will provide measurable reports to management on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

With our unique model, our current Certified Health Professionals have a base income with additional income on patient visits and patient registrations. Compensation will also include monthly mileage reimbursement per month, phone allowance, and a laptop for work use.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. For full-time employees, we have full comprehensive benefits including health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, mileage coverage, and flexibility in scheduling.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
