Sales Engineer for packaging and processing machinery
Western States Machinery Corporation is looking for a highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to cover the Southern California and Arizona region. Candidate should have good knowledge of machinery that is used in the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, beverage and confection snacks industries.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Sales of capital equipment
o Develop projects and increase sales
o Administering all facets for the day-to-day sales operations
o Handling telephone inquiries, issues & follow up on quotations
o Arrange and perform customer visits to promote and build relationships
Qualifications:
o Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
o Skills in marketing and sales even if not extensive
o Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities
o Willingness and ability to travel as needed
o Able to work with little direct supervision
o Ability to resolve customer/vendor complaints and concerns
o Must provide clients with application engineering solutions
o Mechanical/technical background with sales experience
o Computer literate and related software applications
o College level education or equivalent experience
Compensation: This position is a no limit, high commission-only position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
